The practice was established in March 1998. We became Emerald Medical Centre Quakers Hill in April 2011. Our philosophy of this practice is to provide comprehensive and thoughtful medical care to families in the area. We work hard to keep up to date with the latest medical innovations and to bring you efficient personal service. The practice is committed to quality of improvement and we are accredited with QPA. We are fully computerised and have male and female doctors.
From 1st January 2026, a no-show fee of $43.90 will apply if we do not receive at least 2 hours notice prior to cancellation of your appointment.
As of July 2025, a GAP FEE will now apply to all implanon insertions, removals and replacements. The gap fees are as follows;
Insertion: $100
Removal: $80
Replacement: $120
As of the 1st of April 2025, a $25 GAP FEE will apply to all surgical procedures including but not limited to:
Skin excisions, skin biopsy, wedge resections and suturing of wound.

I graduated with honour at Sydney University in 1996. I enjoy practicing as a Doctor. My work is very exciting, challenging and rewarding. I have a strong passion for patient care, Paediatrics, skin cancer medicine and office procedures. My other special interests include cardiovascular medicine and diabetic care and travel medicine. I live with my wife, Joanne and two beautiful daughters Alexandra and Elizabeth in Sydney, Australia. My social passion include reading, playing tennis, swimming, spending time with my family especially my two daughters.

Dr Lila has been practicing medicine for over 30 years and has worked in several different areas including Nepean Hospital and Glenwood. Dr Lila is experienced in all areas of general medicine and also completed her masters in Orthopaedics and practical Orthopaedics. Dr Lila speaks Hindi and Punjabi in addition to English.

Dr Wijeratne studied at University of New South Wales and has interests in health promotion, preventative medicine and psychological treatment. Dr Wijeratne is Sri Lankan background and speaks Sinhalese as a second Language.

Fixed Wing and Rotatory Wing. Dr Phan is in the process of completing a Masters in Tropical Medicine.

Dr Gereis Graduated from the University of NSW in 1980 and worked in the hospital system in Sydney. She trained in General Practice, and thereafter worked in Randwick and the Inner West. Dr Gereis joined the current practice in 1992 when it was located in Railway Parade, her areas of interest are Asthma, PCOS, Paediatrics and Travel Medicine.

| Dr Chitra Sivaramamoorthy MBBS, FRACGP, DCH
Dr Chitra Sivaramamoorthy worked in RPAH for more than 3 years in various medical rotations before moving into General Practice in 2009. Dr Sivaramamoorthy has been a General Practitioner in Dubbo and Sydney, and obtained her post graduate Fellowship of the College of General Practice in 2011. Her professional interests include chronic health - in particular Diabetes, Cardiovascular disease and cancers; Paediatrics and Women's health. Dr Sivaramamoorthy strives to support the ongoing care of her patients in the surgery, and speaks Tamil in addition to English.

Dr Roshan Awmee is an Australian trained General Practitioner with diverse clinical experience in rural and metropolitan New South Wales since 2012. His interests are child health, mental health, travel medicine, and chronic disease management. He has a deep commitment in providing high level of care to patients from varied cultural, linguistic, and socio-economic backgrounds. Apart from English, he can also speak Hindi and French very fluently. Last but not the least, he is also an accredited NSW Injury Management Consultant and has successfully completed the Professional Certificate of Skin cancer Medicine. Please note: Dr Awmee does NOT prescribe opioids or any drugs of dependence.

This privacy policy is to provide information to you, our patient, on how your personal information (which includes your health information) is collected and used within our practice, and the circumstances in which we may share it with third parties.

When you register as a patient of our practice, you provide consent for our GPs and practice staff to access and use your personal information so they can provide you with the best possible healthcare. Only staff who need to see your personal information will have access to it. If we need to use your information for anything else, we will seek additional consent from you to do this.

Our practice will need to collect your personal information to provide healthcare services to you. Our main purpose for collecting, using, holding and sharing your personal information is to manage your health. We also use it for directly related business activities, such as financial claims and payments, practice audits and accreditation, and business processes (eg staff training).

How do we store and protect your personal information?
Your personal information is stored at our practice on our medical software program. The software program can only be accessed by the clinical and non-clinical staff at our practice.
How can you access and correct your personal information at our practice?
You have the right to request access to, and correction of, your personal information.
Our practice acknowledges patients may request access to their medical records. We require you to put this request in writing and our practice will respond within a reasonable time, usually withing 30 days.
Our practice will take reasonable steps to correct your personal information where the information is not accurate or up to date. From time to time, we will ask you to verify that your personal information held by our practice is correct and current. You may also request that we correct or update your information, and you should make such requests in writing to the admin team.
How we use document automation technologies to only include relevant medical information into referral letters
Our practice use document automation to automatically generate referral letters by pulling relevant data from patients records into pre-configured templates. This is achieved through secure medical software which uses unique use credentials for security. By setting up automated variables within the software, a practice can ensure that only necessary medical information is included in the letter, adhering to best practices for patients’ privacy and compliance with guidelines from organisations like the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).
How can you lodge a privacy-related complaint, and how will the complaint be handled at our practice?
We take complaints and concerns regarding privacy seriously. You should express any privacy concerns you may have in writing. We will then attempt to resolve it in accordance with our resolution procedure. The practice manager will attend to your concerns within 30 days.
